Lake Geneva resident arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm during traffic stop.
On 2/5/22 at 12:50 pm, Officer Cronin made a traffic stop in the area of Delavan Drive and Jackson Street for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Steven Rowe. Officer Cronin suspected Rowe was in possession of contraband. Rowe consented to being searched and a handgun was located in his coat pocket. A records check indicated Rowe to be a convicted felon and disqualified from possessing firearms.
Rowe was arrested on the below mentioned charges and held at the Rock County Jail pending his court appearance.
Passenger, Timothy Tustin, was discovered to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. During a search of the vehicle, additional drug paraphernalia was located.
