JPD Announces New Officer Hired 
The Janesville Police Department announces the hiring of one police officer that started on January 31, 2022.
Officer Ashley R. Kamps is from Elkhorn, WI. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Platteville with a Bacehlor Degree in Criminal Justice and Spanish in 2017. She graduated from the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy in 2018. Ms. Kamps recently worked as a police officer for the Williams Bay Police Department.
With the hiring of Officer Kamps, the police department will be fully staffed with 105 sworn officers.
