* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Thompson Pass.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM AKST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility to one half mile or less for extended periods of time.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increased winds and additional snow are expected this evening as a front tracks into Southcentral. The potential for blowing snow will gradually diminish by midday Wednesday. Snowfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour are possible during the heaviest snow Wednesday morning.
