Detectives Seeking Additional Information and Victims
DATE OF RELEASE: Wednesday, February 9, 2022
The West Covina Police Department has been investigating a series of burglaries and robberies in the San Gabriel Valley and has arrested two suspects in relation to them. Brandon Cerda, 35 years old, resident of El Monte and Rolando Perez, 39 years old, resident of Covina were taken into custody. Both have been booked for robbery and currently have a bail amount of $1,000,000.
Detectives believe the two were committing these crimes together using two different vehicles, a white Porsche Cayenne and a white Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicles have already been located by detectives and processed for evidence.
Detectives are releasing the suspects' booking photographs and the photographs of the actual vehicles used during the crimes in an effort to identify additional victims or witnesses. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the West Covina Police Department at 626-939-8688.
