Thousand Oaks resident arrested for DUI after being involved in a traffic collision at Royal Avenue and Arcane Road. 
Avoid the area of Royal Avenue and Arcane Street while the Simi Valley Police Department investigates a significant traffic collision. Expect traffic delays for the next hour or so.

**Update** During the course of the collision investigation, Simi Valley Police Officers determined the vehicle driver, 31 year old Thousand Oaks resident Samantha Escudero, was operating her vehicle while intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
The Simi Valley Police Department encourages any one who has been drinking, to NOT drive. It is not worth it!
