Effective February 19, 2022, public inmate visitation will resume at the Central Receiving Facility, Lerdo Pretrial Facility, and Lerdo Justice Facility.
Visitation will be by appointment only. For visitation restrictions and information please refer to the Kern County Sheriff's Website, under Detentions Visitation.
As always, our main concern is the safety and security of the inmates in our care and custody, along with the health and safety of the staff and the public. All visitors will be required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines while inside the jail facilities.
