Winter Weather Advisory until 09:00PM Monday

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to two inches.

* WHERE...Matanuska Valley.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of up to one inch per hour will continue across the Matanuska Valley, especially east of the junction of the Glenn and Parks Highways, through this evening. Visibility may drop as low as one quarter mile at times due to heavy snowfall. An additional 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible through the evening hours.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MATANUSKA VALLEY

Instructions:

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The combination of heavy snow and resuspended snow from vehicular traffic could severely reduce visibility. For the latest road conditions call 5 1 1 or visit 511.alaska.gov.
