* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois and southeast Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, Christian, Macon, Piatt and Shelby. In east central Illinois, Champaign, Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie and Vermilion. In southeast Illinois, Clay, Crawford, Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Moderate to heavy rain is possible Wednesday night and Thursday. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. This could result in flooding, especially where the ground is frozen. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
