* WHAT...Freezing drizzle is occurring. Additional ice accumulation up to one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Anchorage.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Be prepared for slippery roads, driveways, and sidewalks. Slow down and use caution while driving.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Persistent freezing drizzle has already created a coating of ice across most of Anchorage. Steady drizzle will persist into the early afternoon hours and then is expected gradually diminish. Temperatures will rise to around or even above freezing, though area road surfaces are colder, so icy conditions will persist through the evening commute.
