Winter Storm Warning until 01:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches Thursday afternoon and evening after a period of sleet, snow and freezing rain early in the morning.

* WHERE...Calhoun and Jackson counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to 1 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change over to freezing rain, then sleet and snow by daybreak on Thursday, making roads slippery for the morning commute. There will be a break before the snow returns in the afternoon with snow covered roads expected by the evening commute.
