* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Cuyahoga River At Old Portage.
* WHEN...From Friday morning to early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Facilities at the Akron Water Treatment and Pollution Control Plant are impacted. Water inundates low lying park land adjacent to the river. Low lying roads adjacent to the river will be threatened.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning to a crest of 12.8 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 10.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.8 feet on 05/13/2014. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
