* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, in northern Indiana, Cass IN, Elkhart, Fulton IN, Grant, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, St. Joseph IN, Starke, Wabash and White. In southwest Michigan, Berrien, Branch, Cass MI and St. Joseph MI.
* WHEN...Until noon EST /1100 AM CST/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 742 AM EST /642 AM CST/, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain and snowmelt in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - The snowpack has melted with ponding of water on roads and poor drainage areas increasing in many rural areas. The areal flooding will likely continue through the early afternoon, though the rain will taper off this morning and change to a mix of ice and snow this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
