Police activity on the Southside of Garwood Concluded. Suspect Apprehended. No further action required. 
This morning at approximately 7:55 a.m. Garwood units were dispatched to an altercation and possible assault on the 500 block of Spruce Ave. Upon arrival a suspect fled the area on foot running through backyards and wooded areas in an attempt to evade apprehension. Assistance from neighboring agencies was requested and additional units responded to the area. A short time later the suspect was found on central avenue in Clark and taken into custody. The suspect is the sole person of interest. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.
