* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, in northern Indiana, Cass IN, Elkhart, Fulton IN, Grant, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, St. Joseph IN, Starke, Wabash and White. In southwest Michigan, Berrien, Branch, Cass MI and St. Joseph MI.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EST Thursday /600 PM CST Thursday/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1002 AM EST /902 AM CST/, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain and snowmelt in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Any lingering light rain will change over to snow this afternoon into this evening. - Reports of very high water on roads throughout the area. Several roads have been closed due to the high water. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
