Detectives Initiates a Death Investigation
San Mateo, CA – On Thursday, February 17, 2022, at approximately 1:39 a.m., San Mateo Police Department officers were dispatched to the Bay Trail at Harbor View Park on the report of a drowned male. Officers arrived on scene and rendered first aid. The male, a 28-year-old San Mateo resident, was transported to a local hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The San Mateo Police Department began a comprehensive investigation to ensure that this case is fully investigated.
