Please be advised that the Water Department has made the necessasry repair on West Saddle River Road and water has been turned back on. The Water Department is currently flushing the hydrants in that area.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY WATER IS DISCOLORED OR RUSTY?
Running several cold water taps at full force for several minutes will usually flush out sediment or discolored water. You can also run a cold water faucet in the basement. If the water does not run clear after several minutes, wait for half an hour and try again. If the water doesn't run clear after multiple attempts of running your faucet, please call the Borough of Waldwick at 201-652-5300 x240. After normal business hours, call the Police Business line at 201-652-5700 and the appropriate Water Department personnel will be contacted.
