Flood Advisory until 09:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Indiana and much of central Kentucky.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EST /800 PM CST/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 302 PM EST /202 PM CST/, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Elizabethtown, Frankfort, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Jasper and Shelbyville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
