Oakbrook Terrace is under a Winter Storm Warning for 2 to 5 inches of snowfall today, until 9PM. Public Services will be out clearing the streets throughout the storm. Snow plowing will take several rounds and roads possibly will remain snow covered and slushy through tomorrow morning. Please do not park on City streets so that plow trucks can efficiently treat roadways. Please use extreme caution when driving as difficult travel due to snowfall and blowing snow is expected. Snow fall rates are expected to exceed 1 inch per hour. Reduce your speed, increase distance between your vehicle and others and leave extra time to get to your destination.
