* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Illinois, including the following counties, in south central Illinois, Clinton, Marion and Washington. In southwest Illinois, Monroe and Saint Clair.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 219 PM CST, Local law enforcement reported 9 road closures due to flooded roads in Washington County. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Belleville, O'Fallon, East St. Louis, Fairview Heights, Cahokia, Swansea, Centralia, Shiloh, Waterloo, Columbia, Salem, Mascoutah, Centreville, Breese, Lebanon, Freeburg, Caseyville, Washington Park, Dupo and Millstadt.
