Revised County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health Order “Responding Together at Work and in the Community”

Effective February 16, 2022, the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health are requiring the following:

 

·         The attendance thresholds at Mega Events returned to 1,000 attendees for Indoor Mega Events and 10,000 attendees for Outdoor Mega Events.

·         This Order recommends, but no longer requires, masking for attendees at Outdoor Mega Events.

·         This Order no longer requires masking while outdoors at K-12 schools, Youth Sports, or Childcare settings. Masking is still recommended at crowded outdoor events.

·         This Order continues to require indoor masking regardless of vaccination status.

We take this pandemic very seriously and send our deepest sympathies to those whose lives have been affected by this virus. Residents, business owners, and employees must continue to observe the mandates and prevention techniques outlined in the Order. As a reminder, failure to comply with these provisions constitutes a threat to public health and is punishable by a citation or fine.
