Expect road closures and traffic delays for the Pioneer Day Parade on Saturday February 19, 2022. Please be advised and plan accordingly. 

Road closures will begin at 9:30 AM and will reopen once the last participant crosses SE 3rd St. They expect this to be around 12:00 PM. However, the Broward Sheriff’s Office will open the road sooner should the parade allow. The following is the road closures for the parade. 
 

•       US1 will be closed at SE 10th ST and NE 2nd St

•       Hillsboro Blvd eastbound will be closed at NE 2nd Ave. 

•       Hillsboro Blvd westbound will be closed at A1A

•       A1A will be closed at NE 7th St and SE 3rd St

SE 2^nd street will be the exit route to go under the bridge to head Northbound to A1A if needed. 

Parade Route: 
The parade will begin at Pioneer Park 501 NE Eller Street and travel south on NE 6th Ave to SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd). It will head east on SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd) to Ocean Drive (SR A1A). It then turns north on N Ocean Dr (SR A1A) to NE 2nd St and will curve east onto NE 2nd St. The parade will follow NE 2nd St south onto SE 21st Ave (S Ocean Way) and ends at SE 3rd St.
