* WHAT...Southwest winds of 20 to 25 mph late this evening, shifting to westerly and remaining strong overnight. Gusts 40 to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Michigan.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will accompany a cold front across the area during the early morning hours. In addition to strong winds, brief bursts of heavier snow showers or squalls will be possible. This may result in a localized accumulation from a dusting to less than one inch. Watch for the possibility of some reduction in visibility and slick conditions overnight.
