Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Channahon 2PM Fri. 2/18 through 9AM Sat. 2/19 
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Channahon and the surrounding area from 2pm Friday February 18 through 9am Saturday February 19.
Areas of blowing and drifting snow expected, especially in open areas, due to wind gusts to 40 mph over freshly fallen snow. This blowing and drifting could cause road conditions to worsen, reduce visibility and cause for hazardous travel conditions.
Snow showers or squalls may accompany the highest gust along the cold front.
Slow down and use caution when travelling. Allow extra travel time and expect varying road conditions.
