On Saturday February 18th at approximately 10:45am, Vigo County deputies responded to a cardiac arrest/possibly deceased person located at 455 W Industrial Drive Terre Haute, (Steel Dynamics Inc.) Vigo County deputies made scene along with Honey Creek Fire Department and Trans-Care EMS. Once on scene, they found a male victim caught in a large roll-up industrial door.  Personnel from the fire department could not locate a pulse on the victim.  They continued to attempt to get the door to release and once it finally released and came down, it then freed the victim.  Personnel checked the victim again and it was determined the victim was deceased.   Initial investigation indicates the deceased individual was possibly repairing or working on the door. No signs of foul play are believed to be involved. The investigation is on going pending an autopsy. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
