* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches. Higher amounts are possible in the San Juan foothills. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations of between 1 to 3 inches. Snow will lighten through the day only to pick up again this evening.
* WHERE...Four Corners/Upper Dolores River, Animas River Basin and San Juan River Basin.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM MST Thursday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 5 PM MST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous travel conditions due to icy and snowpacked roadways with areas of heavy snowfall and blowing snow impacting visibility. Near whiteout conditions at times are possible.
