Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 06:15AM

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern Fulton County in western Kentucky... Southwestern Mississippi County in southeastern Missouri... New Madrid County in southeastern Missouri... Southeastern Stoddard County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 615 AM CST.

* At 538 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles north of Parma to 7 miles north of Deering, moving east at 75 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Canalou around 545 AM CST. Matthews and Farrenburg around 550 AM CST. Marston around 555 AM CST. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include East Prairie and Anniston. This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 33 and 60.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FULTON, KY ... MISSISSIPPI, MO ... NEW MADRID, MO ... STODDARD, MO

Instructions:

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Paducah. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CST for western Kentucky...and southeastern Missouri.
