Flash Flood Watch until 12:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is possible.

* WHERE...The lower Kankakee River just upstream of the Illinois River.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Localized flooding of low lying areas and property along the river may occur upstream and downstream of the ice jam. Rapid water level fluctuations may occur due to heavy ice cover on the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Will County Emergency Management and ice spotters report an ice jam downstream of Wilmington has begun to shift and break up. If the ice jam were to break up quickly, flash flooding would occur downstream of the jam. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* AFFECTED AREAS: GRUNDY ... SOUTHERN WILL
