* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Alabama and northeast Alabama, including the following counties, in north central Alabama, Cullman and Morgan. In northeast Alabama, DeKalb, Jackson and Marshall.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 124 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Albertville, Cullman, Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Rainsville, Hanceville, Henagar, Good Hope, Crossville, Sylvania, Falkville, Fyffe, Powell, Grant, Geraldine, Holly Pond and Section. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
