Snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain are in the forecast from Thursday night into Friday for the northern half of the state.
Safety Tips
🚗If you MUST drive, have an emergency kit for your car, have a full tank of gas, and don't crowd the plow. Check 511nj.org for traffic conditions before hitting the road.
🔋Keep electronic devices charged up
🧤Limit time outdoors. If you must go out, bundle up and dress in layers.
🔦Report a power outage to your utility company. Do not assume your neighbor has called it in.
🐾Bring pets indoors. If you're cold, they're cold!
🔥Be a good neighbor! Check on those vulnerable to the cold.
