Winter Storm Warning
The Carlstadt Office of Emergency Management is currently monitoring the situation with the coming winter storm. The National Weather Service has issued the following Winter Storm Warning:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 1 PM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of one tenth to two
tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
Check local Department of Transportation information services for
the latest road conditions.
As a reminder, Snow Parking Rules WILL be put into effect if roads are snow covered on Garden, Jefferson, Seventh Streets and Division and Summit Avenues. Please remove cars from the appropriate side of the street to allow for cleaning and emergency vehicles to pass.
We are asking that if you have a driveway, or access to off street parking, that you please use it. The fewer vehicles on the street, the easier it will be for our Public Works Department to clear the streets.
Also, it is against Borough Ordinance to throw snow into the street when clearing your car or property. Sidewalks must be cleared within 12 hours of the end of the snow fall.
SPECIAL NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO SENIIOR BUS SERVICE ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH.
