* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
* WHERE...All of southeast Michigan.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will likely impact the Friday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will begin over areas south of I-94 by 7PM this evening before snow overspreads the rest of the region by midnight. Heaviest snowfall expected over areas south of I-69 through early tonight. Intensity decreases after midnight which could allow light freezing drizzle to mix in with the light snow over areas south of M-59. Another uptick in intensity is expected Friday morning during the morning commute with rates of half inch per hour likely, particularly over areas north of I-69. A quick 1 to 2 inches of accumulation will be possible in this couple hour period. Snow tapers off by 10AM Friday morning though some scattered lake effect snow showers could linger through Friday afternoon.
