On February 24, 2022, at approximately 6:18 am, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies arrived to the area of Sunset Avenue and Amar Road to make contact with a possible shooting victim. The victim, a male adult, sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital. During the investigation, it was determined the shooting occurred in the area of the 1900 block of South Tonopah Avenue in the City of West Covina. West Covina Police Officers were notified, arrived to the scene, and took over the investigation. The victim is currently in stable condition.
