Advisory

Large Scale Training Exercise to be Conducted at Coyote Point Marina and Recreation Center Tomorrow, 2/25/22

A Bay Area wide first responder training exercise will be conducted at the Coyote Point Marina and Recreation Area on Friday, February 25 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Marina will remain open during the exercise and the recreation area will have signs posted for areas closed to the public.

Park and Marina guests and passersby may see emergency vehicles and simulated emergency situations in the parking lot of the recreation area. Be advised this is NOT a real-life emergency. Do NOT call 9-1-1. It is a training event, allowing local first responders from throughout the greater Bay Area to work together in training for a potential emergency. In addition, you may see some military vehicles participating.

Access to the recreation area parking lot in the Coyote Point Park parking lot will be limited Friday, February 25 only and normal Coyote Point Recreation Area activities will resume on Saturday morning– February 26.

We appreciate your patience as we carry-out this important training.
