* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE...Southern Inner Channels and Prince of Wales Island including Craig, Hydaburg, Kasaan, Thorne Bay, Ketchikan, and Metlakatla.

* WHEN...From Friday evening through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Confidence is increasing in periods of high winds Friday night through Saturday as multiple systems pass the region just offshore. Confidence is low regarding the exact track of these systems; however these types of patterns have a history of producing high winds.
