Winter Weather Advisory Begins at 10:00 PM 
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the area from 10:00 PM Thursday through 1:00 PM Friday. Mixed precipitation is expected, with total combined snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch. Impacts to the Friday morning commute are possible, and drivers are advised to stay off the roads.
The Department of Public Works will begin salting operations early Friday morning and continue through the Westfield Schools' delayed opening. Plowing will occur if total accumulations on the roads exceed three inches of snow.
Grand Sanitation currently plans to conduct curbside recycling Friday for Zone 10 on schedule if conditions permit. Please ensure your recycling items are covered and placed at the curb no later than 6:00 AM. Any changes to tomorrow's pickup will be communicated to residents.
