On February 26, 2022, at about 6:20 pm, the Thousand Oaks Police Department and the Ventura County Fire Department responded to an injury vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of West Lynn Road and East Kelley Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male motorcycle rider lying on the ground near the wrecked vehicle. The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries. The initial investigation revealed the motorcycle was traveling eastbound Lynn Road and collided with the other vehicle at the intersection of East Kelley Road. The identity of the deceased is pending notification of next of kin by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Thousand Oaks Police Department Traffic Bureau.
