Chino Hills Man Arrested for Ayala High School Burglary; Investigators Believe he may be Linked to Similar Incidents

SUSPECT(S): Nitin Singamsetty, 20-year-old resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY: On Saturday, February 26, 2022, at approximately 1:54 a.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Station were dispatched to a burglary at Ayala High School. School security received an audible alarm call and responded to find a broken window in the gymnasium snack shop. Singamsetty ran from the building and was detained on the opposite side of the campus.
During the investigation, deputies learned Singamsetty used his vehicle to ram a gate which allowed him access to the campus. Deputies located evidence inside the gymnasium that linked Singamsetty to the burglary.
Singamsetty was arrested and transported to the West Valley Detention Center where he was booked for Burglary. Deputies believe Singamsetty may be responsible for other school burglaries.
