Bridge Closure over Burns Waterway 
Good Morning,
The town was notified today that the bridge near Precoat Metals and our secondary emergency escape route (over Burns Waterway) will be closed between 9 AM and 5 PM for the next three days. I have spoken with the engineer for US Steel. The closure is due to inspection, a piece of equipment will be placed on top of the bridge for this purpose. In the event of an emergency, the piece of equipment could be removed in order to get emergency equipment through or emergency exit from town. We will have extra police officers working for the next couple of days to ensure there is enough manpower to deal with these issues. I have also been in contact with the railroad regarding blockages at US12 and Hillcrest. They will be doing their best to eliminate those throughout this time.
