Sheriff's Fontana Station Coordinates Local Law Enforcement to Keep NASCAR Fans Safe During Weekend Race Event

INCIDENT: Auto Club Speedway NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series races
LOCATION: Auto Club Speedway, 9300 Cherry Avenue, Fontana, California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, February 26, 2022, and Sunday, February 27, 2022, the Auto Club Speedway, in unincorporated Fontana, hosted the annual Wise Power 400 NASCAR Cup Series race and the Production Alliance Group 300 Xfinity Series race. Law enforcement services were coordinated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Fontana Station, in conjunction with numerous other stations and divisions within the Sheriff's Department. In addition, nearly 100 Explorers and Cadets from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Chino, Ontario, San Bernardino, San Bernardino School Police, Banning, and Beaumont Police Departments participated in multiple events on each day.
During the event, deputies responded to 59 calls for service or public assistance, located two missing juveniles who were reunited with their families, made several proactive contacts, and took 11 reports as listed below. One of the 11 reports taken resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Teagan Seno, for public intoxication.
