INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation
LOCATION: Wild Wash Road, West of Interstate 15, Helendale
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Timothy Del Valle, 34-year-old, Resident of Victorville
Marcos Martinez-Vega, 35-year-old, Resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Friday, February 25, 2022, at approximately 10:10 a.m., deputies from the Sheriff’s Victor Valley Station responded to a location on Wild Wash Road, approximately 3 miles west of Interstate 15, where two men were reported on the ground, non-responsive.
Upon arrival, deputies located the men near a vehicle. The victims, identified as Timothy Del Valle and Marcos Martinez-Vega, had multiple gunshot wounds, and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the scene and are conducting the investigation. At this time the suspect(s) have not been identified.
