Narrative:
On March 1st, 2022, Sheriff’s Gang Unit (SGU) detectives arrested two felony wanted subjects at a motel located in the 1000 block of S. Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard.

In February 2022, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office personnel received information that Jeffrey Gonzales and Sarah Boone were wanted for committing a violent robbery in the City of Jackson in northern California.  The robbery occurred in December 2021 and Jackson City Police Department investigators believed Gonzales and Boone fled to Ventura County.  Felony robbery and assault with a deadly weapon arrest warrants were issued for both suspects out of Amador County. Gonzales also had active felony probation warrants out of Ventura County.

On March 1st, 2022, at approximately 1020 hours, SGU detectives located Gonzales and Boone at a motel located in the 1000 block of S. Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard.  Detectives arrested them for their warrants.

Additionally, detectives searched Gonzales’ motel room and vehicle pursuant to his probation search terms.  Detectives determined Gonzales was in possession of Oxycodone and Vicodin pills, controlled substance sales indicia, and a switch-blade knife. Gonzales was also arrested for violations of HS 11351 – possession for sale of a controlled substance and PC 21510(a) – possession of a switch-blade knife.

Gonzales and Boone were booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Ventura.
