On March 2, 2022, at about 2:50 PM, a robbery occurred at the Walmart located at 2204 Tapo Street. According to witnesses, a black male adult entered the store, produced a handgun and took money. The suspect, who was further described as about 6’3, heavy set wearing dark clothing, then fled the area in a small white car with an undisclosed amount of cash. Simi Officers checked the area but were not able to locate the suspect. There were no shots fired or injuries. This case remains under investigation.
