Deputies Locate Stolen Vehicle and Arrest Rashaad Crite for Possession of a Stole Vehicle

INCIDENT: PC 496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Seventh Street / La Paz Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Crite, Rashaad, 30-year-old male resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On March 2, 2022, deputies with the Victorville Police Department located a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander, reported stolen out of Victorville on March 1, 2022, in the area of Seventh Street and La Paz Drive.
Deputy K. Almaraz located the stolen vehicle in a parking lot and conducted a traffic stop, at which time the passengers exited the vehicle with one attempting to flee the scene. However, deputies were able to detain all occupants without incident. The driver was identified as Rashaad Crite.
After completing their investigation, Crite was arrested for PC 496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Crite was booked into custody at High Desert Detention Center.
