Winter Weather Advisory until 04:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches. Winds 30 to 40 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta coast.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow may reduce visibilities to less than one half mile at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Easterly winds this morning ahead of a low moving into the Kuskokwim Delta will briefly subside as the center of the low passes, leading to briefly improved conditions before southwesterly winds return on the back side of the low later this morning. Visibility will improve this afternoon as snow comes to an end and as southwest winds diminish.
