Transient Arrested for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

LOCATION: State Highway 18 / Daley Canyon Road, Lake Arrowhead
SUSPECT(S): Troy Pierce, age 24, transient out of Crestline
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, deputies from the Twin Peaks Station conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of State Highway 18 and Daley Canyon Road in Lake Arrowhead. The driver, Troy Pierce, was driving with a suspended license, a violation of CVC 14601.1(A).
Through investigation, it was determinded Pierce was also in violation of PC 290.011. Pierce is a registered sex offender, and failed to register as a transient in the area of Crestline. Pierce was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center.
