Over 2,000 Bags of Heroin Seized During Motor Vehicle Stop

At approximately 3:00 PM on February 27, 2022 a city officer was conducting traffic enforcement on U.S. Route 30 (White Horse Pike). Abdul-Uqda H. Ibin Aabid, 28, of Atlantic City was stopped for a speeding violation.
During the course of the investigation, a K-9 officer from a neighboring jurisdiction responded to assist. A subsequent search of the motor vehicle was conducted and an excess of 2,000 bags of heroin were seized.
ARRESTED: Abdul-Uqda H. Ibin Aabid, 28, Atlantic City, NJ
CHARGES: 1st Degree - Manufacturing, Distributing, or Dispensing, 2nd Degree - Possession with Intent to Distribute in a Public Park/Housing, and 3rd Degree - Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
Ibin Aabid was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
