On Friday, March 4th, 2022 at 9:59 a.m. officers responded to the 600 block of Lakehaven Drive on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a conscious victim with a non life-threatening bullet wound injury to his left lower leg. Officers learned the 38 year old male victim and suspect (Julian Taylor Lowe, DOB: 1/6/1985) were engaged in a verbal argument on the sidewalk. During the argument Lowe retrieved a handgun from his car, re-approached the victim on foot and fired one round striking him in the leg. Lowe then fled in his vehicle. Detectives quickly identified the suspect and with assistance from San Jose police located him at a residence in the 600 block of Albanese circle in San Jose. Lowe was arrested for attempted homicide and booked into the Santa Clara county main jail.
