The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 7 PM CST this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WIND...Sustained south-southwesterly winds at 25-35 MPH with gusts up to 40-45 mph. Winds will shift to the west during the late afternoon.
* HUMIDITY...Lowest RH values will be between 17-22 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
