**Important Message from the Belmar Police Department**
Over the past year, there has been an uptake in vehicle thefts, vehicle burglaries, and home burglaries throughout Monmouth County and the state.  This is happening all times of the day and night.  Please do not leave anything of value in your vehicle.  If your vehicle requires a key fob to enter, make sure that you remove it from the vehicle when it is unoccupied. We urge all residents to lock your homes and vehicles. 
Please contact the Belmar Police Department immediately if you observe any suspicious activity.  Remember, if you see something, say something.
