Carjacking Suspect Arrested After he Turns Himself in to Victor Valley Deputies

LOCATION: 9500 Zenda St., Adelanto
VICTIM: Male adult, 32-years-old, resident of Adelanto
SUSPECT: Jacob Adams, 38-years-old, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:26am, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 call in the 9500 block of Zenda Street in Adelanto.
According to the victim, during an argument with Jacob Adams, Adams picked up a shovel and threatened to hit him. Adams threw the shovel at the victim and entered the victim’s idling Chevy Avalanche. Deputies conducted an area check but could not locate Adams or the vehicle.
On Friday, March 4, 2022, Adams turned himself in at the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station. Adams was arrested for carjacking and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
